Career Development Center (CDC) of Daffodil International University and Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Bangladesh, an international development organization entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 14th March of 2017.
The purpose of this memorandum of understanding is to jointly offer students of DIU opportunities to participate in program learning through volunteerism. Through this MoU, students from Daffodil International University will get the opportunity to participate in the development projects conducted by VSO Bangladesh. The students will work in a team of other people from home and abroad and this will increase the confidence and capabilities of DIU students.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Md. Forkhan Uddin, Country People and Operations Manager of VSO Bangladesh and Mr. Feroz Mahmud, Director, CDC in presence of Prof. Dr. Yousuf M. Islam, Vice Chancellor and Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar of Daffodil International University. Among others, Mr. Golam Monowar Kamal, Director, Innovation Hub and Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Project Director, Innovation & Incubation Center (IIC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) were present. From VSO Bangladesh, Ms. Romena Afroz, HR Specialist, and Mr. Mohsin Arif Reja Recruitment Specialist, witnessed the ceremony.
