Mr. M Anis Ud Dowla, Chairman, ACI Ltd. addressing as the chief guest at the “DIU Industry Academia Lecture Series on Entrepreneurship Development” held today at university auditorium.
To encourage the young generation especially the students of Daffodil International University towards the journey of making a successful stakeholders Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized “DIU Industry Academia Lecture Series on Entrepreneurship Development” today on October 08, 2016 at DIU Auditorium.
Mr. M Anis Ud Dowla, Chairman, ACI Ltd. delivered the 4th lecturer of the series on “Entrepreneurship towards Innovation” in today’s program as chief guest as a part of its continuous process. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University presided over the program. The program was also addressed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Yousuf M Islam of Daffodil International University, Alhaj Sufi Mizanur Rahaman, Chairman, PHP Group, Md. Abu Taher, Director, Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC) of DIU. The program was moderated by Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director (Student Affairs). A large number of students, country’s renowned industrialists, business leaders, economists, teachers, researchers, secretaries, ambassadors and elites of the civil society were present at the program.

Addressing among the students as the chief guest and key speaker of the lecture series M Anis Ud Dowla said, “The development of the entrepreneurship is very much important to attain the vibrant economy of the country. He also underscored the need for improving the entrepreneurship development across the country with a view to attaining sustainable development goal (SDG).
Inspiring the students he reminded that morality, integrity and well disciplined mentality are not only the subject matters of prayers room, but also the matter of every aspect of life we have to follow it. Students should learn practical knowledge and skills besides academic knowledge strengthening industry-academia linkage, so that employers can get targeted professional experts for their industry. Terming himself as “I am totally ready to adopt for any viable change” and urged the students to be updated and keep peace with the changes of modern technology to be a successful entrepreneur.
Md. Sabur Khan said Bangladesh needs to improve the entrepreneurship for generating employment opportunities. If we want to a prosperous country, obviously we need to make new entrepreneurs.
Mr. M Anis Ud Dowla shared his long journey to ACI Ltd. and answered lot of questions of the students in the question –answer session and finally Md. Sabur Khan, Chairm,an, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University handed over a memento to Mr. Mr. M Anis Ud Dowla, Chairman, ACI Ltd.
With the aim to inform and motivate the educated youths of the struggle and challenges faced on route to success by the well known entrepreneurs of the country, DIU has taken the initiative where country’s renowned 12 successful well known Entrepreneurs will took part in these lecture series gradually titled “DIU Industry Academia Lecture Series on Entrepreneurship Development “ in different episode and will deliver their success story.
