A workshop named “Emerging subject areas, Studies and scholarship opportunities Abroad” was held for the students of Daffodil International University organized by Career Development Center (CDC) on 12th February, 2014 at DIU Digital Classroom. This arrangement is specially for students those are interested to get admission & Scholarship in abroad.

Mr. Syed Abidi, Project Manager, Middle East and South Asia, Angila Ruskin University, UK. was present as the Keynote Speaker of the session. Professor Dr.Md.Zakir Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics and Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Executive Director, HRDI were present as the Guest. The function was also addressed by Syed Maruf Reza, assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration and Coordinator, Career Development Center, DIU.
Mr. Syed Abidi, was conducting the whole session about career choice and given different examples & bold ideas for choosing different subjects. He emphasized more how to write a personal statement. He also took a session regarding career counseling and gives a guidance to get scholarship opportunity from different reputed university in abroad. He gave various instructions, rules and regulations for scholarship in abroad. Students were engaged Questions answer session about how to make a personal Statement etc. A total number of 36 students were present on the workshop and they enjoyed the whole session, and it will be very effective for students those are want to get scholarship opportunity.

At the end of the session Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics handover The Crest to the Honorable guest Mr. SyedAbidi. The session was closed by giving thanks note to the audience and respective guests of Syed Maruf Reza. The function was conducted by Nazmun Nahar Rakhi, Student associate, Career Development center.
