Career Development Center (CDC) is an entity within Daffodil International University to help students prepare for their personal, academic and professional careers. CDC plays the anchor role in helping undergraduates land the right job within the quickest possible time. We are there to help DIU students realize their full potential in the job market. We prepare and train students of all disciplines for the world of work. At CDC, we help our DIU students to:

Career Development Center (CDC) is open to all. As of now, no membership is required to avail our services.

There is an opportunity for you to work with Career Development Center (CDC) as a Student Associate. From time to time, CDC notifies all the students through email of vacancies. You may then submit your most recent CV and we will call you for an interview.

Yes. You can apply for a part-time job. Submit a recent CV and necessary documents when we publish any requirement.

- What is the objective of the seminars/workshops that CD organizes? Why should we attend these?
The objective of our seminars/workshops is to connect students with industry personnel. Typically the seminars/workshops are conducted by corporate leaders, motivational speakers, and trainers. These key figures in industry share their expectations of fresh graduates and growing employees. They also provide guidance and techniques to develop your employability and soft skills.
13. As I am not a student of Daffodil International University, can I get any service from CDC?
In general, our services are exclusively for the students/Alumni of Daffodil International University. However, sometimes we allow students of other institutions to participate in certain programs.
14. Is there any facility to get feedback from CDC, about a matter relating to a job or internship?
Yes. You are always welcome to contact us for any update. However, we appreciate your patience and, so, please allow us a reasonable time period to work on your requirements. We will inform you as soon as there are confirmed updates.
15. If I complete my Bachelor degree from DIU but post-graduation from others university, am I able to get help from CDC?
Yes, you will be able to get help from Career Development Center (CDC). We always welcome our alumni.
16. If I am not selected for a job or internship due to any shortcoming, is there any chance to get training so that I can improve?
We provide feedback not only on problems but also on possible ways to overcome them.
17. If I try to manage my own job or internship, then how CDC will help me?
Career Development Center (CDC) will help you with an introduction letter and any other assistance you may need with your job or internship placement.

Yes. They do. Please visit our website/FB page where we post such templates and other career and skill development tools.
- Can CDC help to get an international internship?
Career Development Center (CDC) works with organizations to find opportunities for our students for international internships. You may contact us if you are interested and we will notify you whenever there are opportunities.
- If I want to study abroad, how can CDC help me?
Career Development Center (CDC) can link you up with other entities which can guide you about doing higher studies at overseas universities which have MoUs/MoAs with Daffodil International University.
- How many organization is CDC connected with that offer job/internship placements?
For internship placements, currently we are connected with approximately 40 organizations and for your career placement/job placements we are now in touch with over 100 companies.
- Does CDC have any regular program to help me improve my speaking and presentation abilities?
Yes. Daffodil Orators, is a free platform for you to improve both your speaking and presentation abilities through learning and practicing every Thursday. Anyone from any university can join the sessions.
