A Seminar titled "Labor Law and HR Practice in Bangladesh" was held on for the students of Daffodil International University organized by Career Development Center (CDC) on 12th April, 2014 at DIU Digital Classroom. The seminar was especially conducted for Business Graduates who would like to build their career in the field of HR.
Mr. Nazmul Hossain Shahin Head of HR, Digicon Technologies Ltd. was the Keynote Speaker of the session. Professor Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics and Mr. Sheikh Abdur Rahim, Head of Department of Real Estate were present as the Guests in the seminar. The seminar was also addressed by Mr. Masum Iqbal, Head, BBA Program and Mr. Syed Maruf Reza, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration and Coordinator, Career Development Center, DIU.

Mr. Nazmul Hossain Shahin, while conducting the seminar discussed about the laborlaw and HR practices in professional sectors of Bangladesh. He gave examples of different cases & bold ideas for knowing the proper law of labor. He emphasized on knowing the standard working hour in a week at own working organization.
He gave various instructions, rules and regulations for HR role in organizations. Students were engaged Questions answer session on implementing the labor law in a right way. A total number of 52 students were present in the workshop and they enjoyed the whole session, since the whole session was very interactive and definitely this is very effective for the participants.
